This is a great app. Great for creators who needs something that is fast when it comes to transfering your files for editing or sharing. Maybe, when it comes to newly recorded clips I have to wait some time for Localsend to read the files so I can send them to the other device. Might as well improve that since it takes much of my time waiting.

I used LANDrop for the same purpose and I was satisfied with it except sometimes it couldn’t detect peers and I have no alternative than restart my iPhone, which is quite annoying. LocalSend has the ability to restart its server to rediscover peers, which I find very handy. The ability to send a whole folder is also a big plus. Encryption and the call sign feature to identify the partners is a big plus for security. Open source also helps eat any concern about privacy. One thing though: right after install, LocalSend didn’t appear on the share-list of my iPhone (iOS 16.6). I have to restart the phone to make the app appear on its share-list.Suggestion: Any change we can use the same app for Bluetooth connections?

Allow for just turning on wifi like on shareit app without the need to connect to the same wifi to send or receive files. Please include also group sending. Lastly, make the UI more appealing or visually pleasing
