I was able to clean 50gb worth of files from the 'Other' section on System Storage -____- can't believe so many caches are hogging my space
Works fast and does the job!

The app looks good and all, but the problem is it does not clean your disk efficiently. You need to drag items to purge. What I want to do is just clean the unnecessary stuff by clicking a button and forget about it. It is not a cleaner similar to CleanMyMac X or CCleaner.
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback. It’s true that DaisyDisk doesn’t “clean” your disk like the mentioned automatic cleaner apps. But look at the matter from a different angle. How is the automatic cleaner supposed to know what files you no longer need and can be deleted? For example, a tv series you have already watched. It takes a lot of space, but the cleaner prefers to err on the safe side and not touch it. While for the user, it’s immediately clear that the file is garbage. Consequently, automatic “cleaners” typically free up only a small amount of GBs, while with DaisyDisk there is no upper limit for how much you can free up. Also, the idea that the disk somehow gets “dirty” and needs “cleaning” is really foreign on macOS. I think it comes from the windows world;) macOS is pretty good in managing its caches and stuff automatically, in most cases, it doesn’t really need any user maintenance. The biggest space wasters are user files, not system files. And DaisyDisk offers the most efficient way to manage them.
