Simple Transfer does not use or transfer your files to any external server. It provides a completely private website to be accessed by only computers that are directly connected to your local WiFi network. Your photos and videos cannot be accessed from the Internet.
* Simple Transfer offers Trial mode where you can download 10 items without any limitations. After trial mode expires, it switches to Free mode, where you can only transfer the oldest 50 items of each album. Photo Cleaner, Export to JPG, MOV/MP4 (H.264) are also not available in the free mode. To remove these limitations please consider upgrading to Premium version inside the app.

This app solves my problem with media transfer. When transferring via usb and relying only with windows explorer, it always cut off and I have to reconnect my XS max. I even tried shareit, and bought otg usb like sandisk, still not enough for me. I don’t want to buy a mac just to transfer files. With their premium version, I was able to select all 3k photos and videos (heic/4k30fps) and transfer locally without any error. I think they will also keep their word regarding privacy and not trasmit it online without permission.

As advertised, it is indeed simple to use. Transfers are very fast and hassle-free. Just connect the phone and laptop via your wifi and watch it work. No file size limitations.A big plus for me is that it addresses the conversion issues related to the High Efficiency video setting on iOS. No more juddering on videos. Smooth as taken. Had to buy the Pro version though because I used the HE option to save on space for a trip. And also because I had more than 50 files to transfer.

After using this for a couple of months, I got the premium some time February 2018. It’s one of the best app purchases ever since it’s pretty cheap and just a one off payment. Easy transfer from iphone to PC and customer care is also responsive. I love how you can see your Camera Roll folders in your browser which makes finding and transferring much faster.
