I tried other free OCR tools and this beats them all. A year's subscription is reasonably priced. I wish they had some kind of bundle where I could get the PDF Finereader for Windows with this.

This app absolutely cannot cost that much. It's not about the money, but about its performance. Firstly, my only task was to recognize text from a PDF table. The app can't even handle this function; it told me it simply made up some special characters and other stuff. The developers claim that the main advantage is being able to specify the recognition area, but this takes a colossal amount of time due to the app's improper adaptation to the hardware. The final result is so terrifying that you wonder what kind of crude software this is. The program itself operates at a level from the 2000s and is far behind the times in AI technology and should be forgotten. When I tried scanning the same document using competitors, I had no issues with the text layout. This program can only be given one star, but it's an honest one. This is the developers' greed and complete disrespect for the user, offering a product that operates at a level from 20 years ago.

Your question: Ive been using this app for years w/o problem. But currently, while viewing one of the document, the page suddenly blackened or disappeared then as I was scrolling it also happened to other pages. Upon checking, it also happened to all of my folder, the pictures can be seen in thumbnail view but when viewed solo the picture cant be viewed.I can add new scanned page to the old docs and even can view it. But the old docs cant. I hope you can help me those old docs were my lecture notes.
