I love it but I suggest to make new interesting stories
Anne_Haul
This app is so nice like you can download the whole story that I can listen to it even without wifi (as I turn off the wifi whenever I sleeps-for health purposes). And there’s a speed/slow mode to choose from. You can also pick the reader’s voice that makes you comfortable to listen with. Just hope you can create more stories. Thanks a lot for this app.
Mostly Great Service, But There Are A Few Bugs
The Moopy Oopy
I genuinely love that the concept of Librevox exists—I love classics and I love audiobooks, and I am so thrilled to find a service that gives them to me for free. Some of the narrators top the ones in Audible! I’m genuinely so impressed. The issue are record scratch bugs that other people mention: if you pause or skip within an audio file, the audio file kind of starts repeating itself or acontinuing but skipping some words. (A note to other users: it generally goes back to normal if I exit and then resume the audio file.) Fixing that bug would be lovely. The search function isn’t perfect. One of the things I love about Librivox is that it gives us an array of readers to choose from, but those versions are sometimes scattered among the search results—occasionally, I can encounter Version #3 long before I find Version #1. It would be great if the different versions/narrators of an audiobook were grouped together so I can quickly compare which I like best.Again, I love the service, and I believe that fixing these 2 things might make a wonderful app even greater! Thank you for your work!
All my downloaded books
Mean Angeles
I’ve always liked Librivox. Just the last update seems to have messed with the audio or the app. At the beginning of each chapter, the audio “stutters” like a scratchy cd. I didn’t experience it before the last update. As of may 14, 2021, the latest update doesn’t play the audio when the phone is locked or when i go to other apps. Hope it can be fixed.
I Wish I Can Delete Adds
Joey Estante
I love the app, but adds are annoying, so… I still like the app almost had all my audio books to read. :)
