This dice game got various names over the years and continents : yatzy, yacht, yam's, yahsee, yatzi and so on, but what does not change is that it is very simple, fast to learn and fun to play!
HOW TO PLAY?
Even if you’ve never played this dice board game before, Yatzi is fun, fast, and easy to learn!
Yatzy is composed of 15 rounds, each round containing 5 dice that can be rolled up to 3 times.
Your goal is to achieve the highest score by completing as many of the 15 dice combinations as possible.
You can score once and only once in each combination, so choose wisely!
This is a dice game of strategy and luck. Try to get the highest points possible by completing fifteen different dice combinations. Those combinations are one pair, two pairs, three of a kind, four of a kind, small straight, large straight, full house, and chance for the lower section and ones, twos, threes, fours, fives, and sixes for the upper section. And we have Yatzy, the mother of them all. You can play Yatzy solitaire or against an opponent. In single player, you choose your target points and try to score higher than that. Against an opponent, you just have to score higher than your rival.
Yatzy comes with 3 modes :
Solo : practice and train yourself on 1 grid and try to beat your personal best
American Yatzy: 13 rounds of roll instead of 15.
Yatzy: 15 rounds of roll and win against intelligent AI Opponent.
