Thea+ has ruined the goal of the app
Ehcnor
The first time I downloaded the app it was definitely the best thing to have been created for studying. It had all the things that you would essentially need like importing notes into quizzes, flashcards, or even into a summary all for FREE. But once the paid subscription came around the whole app has basically become a shell of its past self. Removing unlimited quizzes and putting it behind a paywall doesn’t really help the goal of the app to be a good study tool. The free version serves such a small sample size of the actual content that one would actually need to properly study. Not only does the free version have limited questions, but once you’ve used up all your questions the app takes 2 hours or more for you to study again. That really doesn’t help anyone study, forcing people to study under a paywall does not present a good product to us consumers. I really did enjoy this app for the longest time. But with the paywall blocking the most important features of the app I can’t really say if it is worth it to be actually using it. Thank you Thea AI for being a shell of your former self by being greedy and making your app a capitalist mistake.

We hear you 💛 and we appreciate you being part of Thea. Thea is still free — Thea+ is simply an optional premium upgrade. Our goal has always been to keep a strong free version available to everyone. You should still be able to use flashcards and study guides for free. We've worked hard to keep the free version as accessible as possible, so the limits you're seeing are designed to be modest while still allowing students to use Thea at no cost. If you'd be open to sharing more about your experience, please reach out to support@thea.study, we'd love to help. We're always working to make both the free and premium experiences better. 📚✨
THE BEST THING I EVER DISCOVERED
xiaomao1616
This is the very first time I ever left a review for an app. As a student, this is the best thing I have ever discovered. I stumbled across a video suggesting apps for iPad, and this one is included there. I was curious on how this works so I downloaded it. ONE THING I CAN SAY IS IT IS AMAZING. THE FEATURES ARE EASY TO NAVIGATE AND IT DOESNT OVERWHELM YOU. AS SOMEONE WHO GETS OVERWHELMED READING HUNDREDS OF PAGES AND WATCHING HOURS OF LECTURE VIDEOS, THIS REALLY HELPS A LOT. I CAN EASILY DO MULTITASKING, ANSWERING IN THE APP WHICH ALSO PROVIDES EXPLANATIONS OF THE ANSWERS, WHILE OPENING ANOTHER TAB FOR MY LECTURE NOTES WHERE I CAN EASILY ANNOTATE THE EXPLANATIONS. THIS IS A GREAT APP FOR SOMEONE WHO’S HAVING A HARD TIME READING AND UNDERSTANDING HUNDREDS OF PAGES OF BOOKS/LECTURE MATERIALS AS IT SIMPLIFIES THE EXPLANATIONS. WHAT’S ALSO AN AMAZING THING IS THAT THIS APPS MAKES THE CLASSES AUTOMATICALLY, YOU DONT REALLY NEED TO ARRANGE IT YOURSELF AS IT ARRANGES YOUR MATERIALS DEPENDING ON WHAT SUBJECT/COURSE IT IS. THE BEST EVER THING ABOUT THIS IS IT IS FOR FREE😩😭🫶🏼 AS A BROKE STUDENT THIS IS ALREADY A BIG WIN AND HELP. SO THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCCHHHH TO THE DEVELOPERS. THIS REALLY MADE STUDYING/REVIEWING SESSIONS MUCH MORE PRODUCTIVE. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. MAY THIS APP CONTINUE TO HELP OTHER STUDENTS AND BE FREE FOREVER AMEN (if its possible huhuhuhu). MAY THE DEVELOPERS BE BLESS FOREVER. THANK YOU SO MUCH🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼P.S. Would be nice if there’s a podcast or voice something feature, i think hehehe

BEST AI STUDY TOOL EVER
Tarah Gabrielle
I love this app so much. Especially as a student who is quite careful with spending money, I'm really happy that this app is free. I discovered it by downloading so many different AI apps online, but this was the only thing that worked and I am obsessed with it. My grades have been improving significantly because it's easier for me to review the notes and I don't have to read every single page. I also realized through this app that doing active recall helps me better. Add a podcast and video generating feature PLEASEEE. I hope this app stays free because it's helping a lot of students, including my friends. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. 🩷
