Train your ears, not your memory. Ear Training - Modern is a free, ad-free app that helps musicians hear what they read and read what they hear. Every drill is randomized and playable in any key, so you build real listening skills instead of memorizing fixed examples. WHAT YOU'LL PRACTICE • Solfège & pitch — identify scale degrees and resolutions • Intervals — melodic and harmonic, 2nds through 7ths, ascending and descending • Triads — recognize major, minor, and the diatonic triads, including inversions • Chord progressions — hear common diatonic and major-triad movements • Melodic dictation — listen, then read the melody back on the staff HOW IT WORKS Set or hear the DO (tonic), play a drill, then tap what you heard. An animated score gauge tracks your accuracy, and a hands-free Automation mode runs round after round so you can drill with your eyes closed.
