Just got to try today the new app. Fresh look. But buggy. May not even get the stars from that transactions given that it’s not showing. Crew checked a couple of times, and admitted that it’s bugging and not registering.

I’m extremely disappointed with Starbucks. They created another app, but it still didn’t resolve the issue of my missing Stars from my previous transactions on the old app. I expected the transition to a new app to address these concerns, but my missing Stars are still nowhere to be found.What’s even more frustrating is that I reached out to customer service through email, but I never received a response. There is absolutely no sense of urgency in addressing customer concerns, and the lack of communication is incredibly disappointing.I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer, but experiences like this make me question whether it’s worth continuing to spend my money here. I just want my missing Stars properly credited and my concern taken seriously.

I was asked by my barista to download the new app to enjoy the new scheme to earn stars. I did download but I all my credits and stars from the previous app are NOT transferred automatically.This buggy app is asking me to manually enter the card details which is not existing anymore. I threw that card away a long time ago since it is already rendered useless to keep as I got the app.Whoever made this app did not do proper QA on the seamless transfer of data from the old app to this new one. Total disappointment.

The new app has increased the number of stars required to redeem pastries, even though they used to cost only 100 stars. While the amount you need to spend to earn stars has stayed the same, the number of stars needed for rewards has gone up, making the rewards program feel less valuable.Because of this change, Starbucks no longer seems worth it. I might as well switch to Dunkin', which I think offers better-tasting coffee!!
