CTisus: CT of the Hand & Wrist

Medical

Free · Designed for iPad

The anatomy of the wrist is complex and in the past CT evaluation of the wrist was often limited to axial slices and simple multiplanar reconstructions. However improvements in CT scanning technology now allow true volume acquisition with isotropic datasets. These advances along with easy to use 3D software have improved our ability to image the wrist with volume display. It is important for the radiologist to be familiar with the anatomy in all 3 dimensions. This exhibit provides detailed and schematic medical illustrations, corollary CT, and state of the art 3D MDCT volume rendered images and animation, which will demonstrate complex anatomy of the wrist in 3 dimensions. This interactive atlas will include a series of cases, which demonstrates interesting cases of hand and wrist pathology. we hope you enjoy it.
