I regret having updated to the latest version. Not only the old version showed the heart rates for free, its sleep detection was way more accurate. Not so with the new version 🙁 The new version sometimes showed completely rubbish informations like I was asleep from 6 am only (!) or it detected two sleep sessions where it’s only one. Of course for the heart rates display it required a subscription, again. The Apple Watch app is also completely unusable: it can only show the last available analysis but can not send a request to the iPhone app to make a new analysis?!I paid the subscription for 3 months but didn’t find much value in it. Paying for an automatic sleep tracker would be a much better choice.
Hi! Starting from Pillow v.4.0, the detailed sleep stage analysis has been extended to include more information and is now part of Pillow Premium along with Heart rate analysis. The new update added a lot of free features and for the first time you can access all your previously detected sleep sessions. The free version of Pillow remains a great option for both manual and automatic sleep tracking, offering a daily sleep analysis chart, average heart rate, max. and min. heart rate values, multiple customisable alarm presets, Apple Health integration, iCloud syncing and backup, Smart alarm, optimal bedtime notification insights, a selection of free alarm and sleep aid sounds and many more. We're happy that millions of users continue to rely on that version to track their sleep and we are working to bring more free and paid features. Thank you for your understanding. Furthermore, about Pillow's tracking accuracy, getting unexpected results may be the result of a misconfiguration. Please check the following link on how to correctly setup Automatic sleep tracking and troubleshoot various issues: https://intercom.help/pillow_app/en/articles/4847129-my-sleep-analysis-seems-to-be-incorrect . You may also edit and re-analyze any sleep sessions by either tapping on the "re-analyze" card below the graph or by tapping the three dots at the top right corner of the sleep report screen.
