Exactly what I Needed while Working Remotely from the Office
Maria C.
We are now adopting to a new normal - working remotely from the office or directly from home. Fantastical helped a lot in organizing my otherwise chaotic work, by being available on any of my devices and syncing across each other easily and efficiently. Receiving instructions on what tasks to do and meetings to attend while on the phone is very stressful but you can record everything in this application. I can even place my the videoconference data on the app for easy access when I need it. They have great customer service too, ready to help out issues with the application that you might have. That being said, this is one application everyone should have to have an organization and effeciency in the workplace or at home.
Still the Same Great App!

I've been a long-time supporter of Fantastical just like most of the folks who submitted a review on here.I feel like it's unfair to rate them so low, considering how great the product actually is. Admittedly I wasn't happy when I received the update and realized they moved to a subscription model, but it's not like they stripped us from the funcitonalities we originally paid for.I understand how if they want to make the product EVEN BETTER, they'd have to raise prices to do that — folks should too!Not to mention, I ran into an instance where I couldn't even open the app because of some accident I made that caused the app to constantly crash.Eric of their support team and I had a lot of back-and-forths and he guided me through everything — it was fixed in less than 2 hours! Can't imagine my life without Fantastical 😊
Expensive, but there's a silver lining...

$40/year isn't cheap for my use case especially since I don't use the app on all platforms, but I would pay if only to be thankful that Fantastical decided to make native apps for each platform. It hasn't even been long since iOS apps started coming out in droves by way of Catalyst and I am already annoyed by those poorly ported Catalyst apps that it's important to me that my favourite apps that showed throughout the years that the user experience is important at least continue to provide me with a 'native' Mac app experience. ...and understandably that's going to cost versus going for the cheap method of porting it. I am ok with that in this current trend of shying away from native Mac apps. Native Mac apps are what attracted me to the Mac and I hope Catalyst doesn't kill it. So I will continue to support apps like this even if I don't like subscription. Give me what I want, and I will show my appreciation for it.
