Monster Hunter Now 12+

As a Monster Hunter fan since 2009, I could say that this is good so far! I have always been a fan of MH. This game is a different level compared to the original since the setup is like Pokemon Go which makes it a little exciting.

I’m expecting more from this game especially the monsters from the previous versions like Tigrex, Rathalos, Rathian, and etc. I also need to explore more abt this game. I am also expecting more weapons and armor crafting! That would be great!

Animations are great and the graphics are very good. I believe Capcom has put a lot of effort in managing this game more than Niantic. The combat is simple yet you have to be very aware of the monsters’ movements to counter their attacks and, or dodge.

Leveling up your HR will definitely take you many, many hours but the most frustrating things are the material drop rates and the rarity of material being dropped. Imagine defeating a 6-8 stars monsters and receiving just rarity 1 materials. Imagine walking for many minutes, probably hours just to get mediocre material and just to rank up one tier higher. Obviously this game will make you move, like a lot, and that’s good for those who want to walk a lot, but you cannot fully enjoy this with mediocre materials and lack of drop rates. Also, if you die and you have no meds or potions left, you will be forced to wait for at least 30 mins to get your health back to 30-50%.

Some other occurring problems are the gps inconsistency and the constant lags after the latest update. So, I’m afraid after playing for a month, I’m done. There’s no point of playing this game if there’s no real good update that will enhance the gameplay and the game itself.

Game is good overall and I enjoy the mechanics would have given this a much higher rating if not for some issues. My main concern is that the movement feature is too restrictive for 2 main reasons. (1) I walk slowly in a building for a few meters (less than 10m) and I am restricted since apparently I am going too fast which ends up restricting most of my gameplay even in claiming rewards. And it takes a few minutes to go back to normal. (2) I can't even claim items on nodes while traveling even if I am just a passenger. This has been such a blocker in progressing thru the game. Understand if it is just hunting but it had to restrict collecting items. I have friends who also play the game and we all have different phone models, yet the issue or concern persists among us all. Besides this, the game is enjoyable and has lots of potential
