Murder by Choice: Mystery Game 12+

I'm a big fan of mystery and HOG's and could tell that this is a great game with a very good story line (just started a few days ago). What I like most is you have the option to choose how you react every situation.

Only downside of this game is you have to purchase energy every time you run out of it and some of the parts in the story line costs more energy than others. Regeneration of energies is very slow too. Slept overnight only to get energy less than half of the limit. You can watch ads for free energies but its not amusing that you would be able to use that energy once in the game every single time.

I played a lot of mystery games before but this is so far my worst game I played. Imagine this:
I was on the scene that i need to get the med kit. I do not have an energy left, so i liked their FB page to get 100 energy. So this is how i spent the 100energy in 2 or 3minutes. I miscliked a NPC and cost me 10energy to have a convo with that NPC. Next was opening the gate which cost 20energy, next was opening the door which cost 10energy plus another 10 by using the card. Another 10 by opening the door where the kit was. And 5energy each item you pick on the “find the items” game. I already used 60energy to get to that room so my remaining energy was 40. Not to mention that opening a bag or a drawer also cost 10 on which the item was located.
If you will wait for 5mins for an energy to be replenished, so you need to wait for a thousand minutes (200energy x 5mins) to fully replenish your energy. And use all 200energy in just 5mins. Very worth it?
Don’t worry. There are a lot of side quest that will give you energy. Like taking a picture 5times to get 10energy. But the cost of talking with an NPC, plus taking a picture with them will cost 10energy each. So you need to use 100 energy for the 10energy reward.
Very worth it? Or just wasting your time?

I’ve been playing Murder in the Alps for so long and it has become one of my fave games to pass the time. I don’t mind the 200 limit energy bar per day cuz whenever I play the game, it doesn’t end quickly. This game on the other hand is quite the opposite. Don’t get me wrong, the story is quite intriguing and the UI is good too but I feel like the game ends quickly compared to the former one. They have the same energy limit and waiting time but whenever I play this game all I need is 5 mins of my time and it’s over. The energies for simple actions like opening the door etc takes up to 10 already and it’s quite ridiculous if you ask me. I get that the purpose for that is for us to buy energy packs but if you don’t fix the energy usage which correlates to the playing time, players will lose interest early in the game. Hope this helps in a way.
