I have tried almost every offline rss reader and have been using Byline for quite a while. Byline, although it used to be close to perfect, is very unstable bec its last update was a year ago. Now on to Newsify. What's good abt this app is the offline downloading and image caching and the navigation of previous and next articles. Also, it can sync 5,000 articles more or less depending on your choice. Some shortcomings that can be improved: very slow download. And when it downloads, the auto-lock setting of the device is still active. So when you have a 2min auto lock, and 2,000 articles to download, you gotta swipe the screen often so it won't sleep and will continue downloading (byline downloads even after the auto-lock duration; screen is asleep but app is open and still downloading). Since this is a new app, I'm guessing and hoping updates and improvements continue to come along. Glad I was able to get this app for free as it's for a limited time only. But willing to pay just so it can always be updated and improved.
