VERY BAD SERVICE

I have been contacting them about a payment i made via this app because such payment did not reach the biller. It has been two weeks since the payment was made (as of writing). I have been contacting them via email, messenger, call and to no avail no one responded with a resolution nor offered to help. Until now my line is cut because i do not have extra to pay off my bill twice. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
UPDATE: NO TICKET WAS PROVIDED. I checked the email and Miyuki replied to me asking for my details last March 10 5:45AM(for reference isent the screenshot of the email to paymaya cares messenger). I provided it on the same day and i got no response since then. I also communicated via Paymaya Cares and got no response either. I followed-up last March 28 via email and messenger and still no response.

Hi Hyrucha. If you sent an email to support@paymaya.com, you should get an automated response with the ticket reference number. We regret that we are unable to escalate this issue without an identifier such as the reference number. We also advise against providing personal details through this channel, for security reasons. Very poor customer service

There should be a zero rating for this app. I called today to quickly ask only about the recent updates made in the app and the customer service (CS) said that she cannot proceed with my queries due to the place of birth I have provided did not match their record. This is weird since I only have one place of birth and I’m 100% sure I did not change it since I only submitted my information for the account upgrade once. Told the CS that I used the same information with my previous calls and got verified. I pointed out to the CS that maybe she is not looking at the correct information for my place of birth or there is a glitch in the database or system but insisted that I’m wrong. I cannot even see anymore in the app all my other personal information other than my name and mobile number. And she asked me to call back once I remember my correct place of birth. Really? How come I’m able to verify my account with my previous calls with the same information and then today I was told after providing the same place of birth that it is incorrect. This is not making any sense to me and I’m hoping PayMaya will look into this asap. Very poor customer service! 😔

App is great but service is not

I really loved PayMaya because it is very convenient for online purchases. It was a lot of help when the Covid lockdown started because I do my groceries online and pay using Paymaya. That was until I received a text message that my virtual card was deactivated because I haven’t used it for 30 days, which is not true because I did my groceries just a few days before. Opened the app and saw that I was supposed to upgrade my account. I tried to do so but it requires specific types of IDs which I currently don’t have and am unable to get due to the lockdown. I emailed customer service why my account was deactivated in the first place and if they can give me an exception for the ID due to the situation. I got a response that my card expired, which again is not true because I remember using my card for purchase and the expiry date is not anytime soon. After explaining that in my response, I did not hear back from them for about 3 weeks now. This is such an inconvenience at such a critical time. I have money in the account that I cannot use because I cannot upgrade. And they have been ignoring me everywhere. I will probably uninstall once I get my money back.
