Use the included model for basic transcription. The free tier supports iPhone recordings of up to 5 minutes each and imported audio files up to 5 minutes long. Copy and share plain transcript text without Pro. RecordMind Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It removes the free 5-minute limit and unlocks advanced models, local summaries and Markdown, SRT and OPML exports. Recording length and processing still depend on device storage and system conditions. TRANSCRIBE ON YOUR DEVICE Speech recognition runs locally; your audio does not need to be sent to a transcription server. The basic model is included. Additional models require an internet download before offline use. Choose a language and model to suit the recording and your device; speed and quality vary with audio, language and hardware. FIND AND REPLAY THE DETAILS • Record audio or import a selected audio file • Organize notes into meetings, ideas and interviews • Search saved titles and transcript text • Tap a timed passage to replay retained audio • Adjust playback speed and move back or forward 15 seconds • Copy the full transcript or an individual passage SUMMARIES AND EXPORTS WITH PRO Get a shorter view of a transcript through on-device key-sentence extraction. Summaries select passages from the source; they are not a conversational AI or a guarantee that every decision or action is captured. Check important details against the original. Export Markdown for your notes, SRT subtitles when timing information is available, or an OPML outline for a mind-map workflow. These formats require Pro; plain-text copying and sharing do not. FOLLOW RECORDING AND TRANSCRIPTION Optionally enable live captions to see text while recording. On supported devices and system versions, Live Activities show recording or transcription progress. Interrupted transcription jobs can offer a resume option when saved progress is available; do not rely on uninterrupted background processing. For meeting notes, study, interviews and voice memos. Start with short recordings, then unlock Pro once when you need more. No subscription. RecordMind is not a phone-call recorder. Record only with any required permission or consent.
