StackSweep is a gravity-powered block puzzle where every move counts. Drag and drop classic shapes onto the grid, complete rows to clear them, and rack up massive chain combos as cascading blocks trigger new clears. With a rising floor that never stops pushing upward, quick thinking and smart placement are your only defenses.
Place 8 distinct block shapes — from classic tetrominoes to the tricky C-pentomino — by dragging them from your shape tray onto the board. Tap to rotate any piece before placing it. When a row fills completely, it shatters in a satisfying explosion of quarter-block particles that scatter across the screen.
Clear multiple rows at once for bonus points. Trigger chain reactions where gravity pulls surviving blocks into new rows, which clear automatically for escalating multipliers. A single well-placed block can set off a cascade worth thousands of points.
Bombs add an explosive twist. Bomb tiles appear periodically among your shapes. When a row containing a bomb clears, the bomb detonates — destroying all 8 surrounding cells in a fiery blast with screen shake, radial particles, and spark lines. The resulting gaps trigger another gravity pass, often leading to devastating chain reactions.
The rising floor keeps the pressure on. A timer pushes new randomized rows up from the bottom, and the interval gets shorter the longer you play. On Easy you get breathing room. On Hard, the floor rises fast and the grid is wider, demanding sharp spatial reasoning under pressure.
Three difficulty levels offer distinct challenges:
- Easy: Narrower grid, slower push, more bombs to help clear trouble spots
- Medium: Wider grid, moderate pace, fewer bombs — balance speed and strategy
- Hard: Widest grid, relentless push speed, rare bombs — pure skill
The dark wood aesthetic gives StackSweep a warm, tactile feel. Wooden block textures, a tiled grid background, and a rich palette of 9 distinct shape colors create a board that looks as good as it plays. Floating score popups, shockwave rings, and chain multiplier banners punctuate every big moment.
Satisfying audio and haptics complete the experience. Blocks land with a solid tok. Rows shatter with a crisp explosion. Bombs detonate with deep bass rumble. A gentle background loop sets the mood without distracting. Every action has a matching haptic response — light taps for rotation, firm feedback for placement, a success buzz for clears.
Customize your experience from the in-game settings panel. Choose your difficulty, toggle haptic feedback, and adjust music and sound effect volumes independently. Your high score persists automatically between sessions.
