Great for People w/ Little Time

If you are constantly wondering what to do in the gym and have been through a bunch of different routines, this one will be a real game changer. It is simple at the start but gets quite hard in short order. You owe it to yourself to see just what your body is capable of and this App will help take you there. My only caveat though is that if you are trying to lose weight, this routine/app is not the way to do it. Get your food portions to manageable levels, lost the weight first, then use this app. The exercises will inspire a natural hunger which will help you put on muscle but it does nothing for people who are obese and need to stay on a diet.

Takes (over)thinking out of the picture

Ive tried a lot of programs—personalized coaching, Crossfit style, bodybuilding style. Ive found that SL 5x5 is the sweet spot in terms of results and time spent in the gym. I got a full time job and I cant spent hours on the gym. I got the SL app, follow the program. No more thinking. No more trying what movements I did last time and how much weight I did. Why do I trust SL so much? Ive trained under coaches with sports science degrees before and their advice basically boiled down to do heavy compound lifts. Exactly what SL 5x5 makes you do. Great simple app

Tracking 5x5 has never been easier and more intuitive. However, I hope they fix the timer location. Because right now on the iPhone X, the timer is located at the bottom of the screen and the home bar is blocking the view. Other than that, great app!

EDIT: wow, the developers actually listened on my issue and took action on it. Thank you and Amazing work! Keep it up!
