Connection and download issues
Just like the other reviews, I have been experiencing the sudden lag while watching videos and the “please connect to a better network” pops up even if my internet connection is totally fine. Also, the downloaded videos are not working. They are just loading endlessly. Funny is out of the three vids I downloaded, I was already anle to finish one and the other halfway through. I took a nap and when I was about to watch my downloaded video again, it no longer works as well as the other two, one of which was the one that I have already completed watching on downloaded mode. Then I tried to search for those episodes on wifi mode and they play normally! How could the one I downloaded not work and the same one works kust fine on wifi. That’s just so weird. It took so long to download three videos and then they just ended up not playing. Sigh. Please get this fix asap. Thank you.
Good Titles (almost all KDramas) but Greedy
Been using this app for several years now and I’m also a premium subscriber. It has good titles available and almost all new kdramas. There are several problems though which I don’t think related to connection issue like what others have pointed out but I believe its a mere greediness of this developer. Imagine, I’m a premium subscriber paying monthly, granted it’s cheaper than other competitors, but even as premium it has plenty of ads. The problems people encounter near end of video where it suddenly would stop and reload to forever, I think that that is there to force the users to reload the app and watch another ad so they can earn more revenues. Its true for all videos and I hope Apple or someone investigates this. They are updating the app almost every month but videos keeps on getting forced reload so users get to another ad when that is not how it’s advertised. Hope someone takes notice.
Very Good but...
The app is very good and nice overall. The dramas are all excellent even though you can only stream up to 480p which is a huge bummer. That was fine for me but the thing that isn’t is its bugs and gliches. The old app had little black lines just below the subtitles and now, the screen resize button is often unpressable. I know it’s not due to my screen because i’ve tested it to know if my thoughts are wrong and it turned out to be right. And also the pixels of the video would be glitching and also sometimes going late or early for the video to catch on. Please fix this to not only make the Viuwers more comfortable watching the dramas but also for me to give this app five stars. I know that you can fix this because I’ve always watched k-dramas on Viu and i love it so far. P.S I’m currently using an iPhone 6s Plus. Thank you for your consideration!
