I just recently started watching k-dramas on this app. I'm loving it so far. Great selections. Thoughts:I know that there are lots of websites that offers to let you watch these dramas for free. However, watching it on those platforms does not help the creators of the videos you're watching. They are basically not getting paid to let you watch those. So sign up for a premium here on Viu. 😅✌️Feedback:I noticed that you do not have the buttons to rewind or fast-forward besides dragging the radio button on the video's progress bar. I recommend creating these options so users for at least 10s or 15s.I also noticed that I still see ads. Its empty but it is still clickable and the word 'Advertisement' is still there. Please fix this. We signed up for the premium to get rid of the ads but we're still seeing it.Otherwise, everything looks great! Please keep getting more series and movies for us to watch. 🥰

Good Shows are limited. Not a fan of pinoy adaptations of some series. However there are a few shows that are quite good k-dramas and variety shows like Young Actor’s retreat and bad prosecutor. These 2 shows are the reason why i started using the app again. The free option (non-premium) has too much ads without a skip option. 2 to 3 lengthy ads (30 seconds long , some Longer like that annoying graham recipe commercial) before the video starts playing is too much; it affects user experience. Further Note to devs: after ads are completed, sometimes the actual video does not play and just buffers. This will force the user to restart video (exit and play again) and then gets subjected to the usual 2 to 3 ads. (Note that i am watching via my tablet/ipad mini. Not a connection issue as netflix, prime and hbo go play just fine). Ads are not bad for the free option. As a consumer of the free service i get that. However something has to be done to improve the experience. Provide a skip option or evenly place the ads in different parts of the video. Mind the ads duration as well.With the limited selection and too much ads, how will you convince consumers to upgrade to a premium account? Note that i used to have a premium account but decided to unsubscribe due to said issues. Competition is stiff with various streaming platforms available. Hope to see improvements to shows, ads and ui as pointed out by other users.

Please hear me out. I love the selection of kdramas offered by viu however the only reason why i cant fully commit to this app is because of the layout of subtitles. The captions are too big and too far that I find it difficult to watch the scenes and read the subtitles at the same time. The font is too big that I have to pause several times to read the whole sentence or else I wont be able to understand what’s happening. It’s also located too far that I either focus on the scene or read the caption since I find it hard to do both at the same time, especially on bigger screen. I don’t know if it’s just me or if somebody already complained about it but please please please make some adjustments on this.

I love the application its just that there are few things I want to point out. Ive been watching kdramas and other things on the application and so far, the points im gonna point out are my main concernDownload/offline viewing-The users need to close the episode that has been watched and click the next episode to proceed. Cant the users have a smooth transfer and the app would automatically start the next episode downloaded? Id just like to compare with the viu to other platforms. List of dramas/shows watching-its kinda hard to find the shows that I am watching. Im watching a lot of korean variety shows and I have no clue where I left off. I only watched the series yesterday and it doesnt show on the application. Can we ask for a ‘watching right now’ portion in the app for easier monitoring of the shows ive been watching? Its easier that way. Advertisements-i already upgraded to premium so theres no advertisements anymore but every time I scroll down Id see a portion for advertisements in a black space. Seems like they are still supposed to be there. Arent that area supposed to be hidden once the user has already been upgraded?
