It was fine, however there are times that the app says the connection is poor, even if my other social media apps are working fine. When my friend’s message on WeChat popped up on my notification bar, I immediately opened the app, but it says “connection problem” so I can’t see new messages
Unwelcoming to non Chinese users and terrible customer service

When using the app as a non Chinese citizen, it works just fine, you can verify your identity use it’s banking features etc. But when you need some help, it takes days if at all to get a response, and in the case of losing access to your account, you need a Chinese citizen ID to recover the account, something that non Chinese do not have. Not to mention just the simple act of logging your account in a different country, even if that country is your own home country, is actually a bannable offense.Tencent, please for the love of god improve your customer service for non Chinese users, otherwise why even bother tapping into the international market. P.S. I still can’t log into my account after multiple pleas to customer support. Even when telling them I am a foreigner they still respond with “please use your Chinese citizen ID to verify your identity to unban this account”.
