You can now pause WordBopper when playing in Timed and Bopple modes! Perfect for when anything comes up and you don't want to lose your bopping progress. Locking your phone, receiving a call, or moving to another app will all automatically Pause the game, and all the bops will be waiting for you when you come back. The Timed and Bopple Mode "End Game" buttons have been replaced with "Pause Game" buttons, and Non-Timed mode now has Game Options instead of the End Game button. These new Pause and Game Options screens allow you to report a missing word if you encounter something during gameplay but don't want to wait until the end to send in the feedback. Added Keyboard access instructions in How to Play for the iOS and MacOS game versions. Added additional Voice Control support for the new button additions.

More Dynamic Type tuning after feedback. The letters should appear larger in 5x5 and 6x6 grid sizes for better readability without the letters bopping into each other. Also, for anyone using Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, or Brazilian Portuguese as their native system language, they may notice that WordBopper now has localization in their native language! Still something being added and tweaked, but a fun little surprise nonetheless.

Refactored Your Best Game section: any time you play any of the WordBopper modes in a non-English language, the language-specific games will be tracked. Spanish Bopple Mode, Italian Timed Mode, German Non-Stop Mode, etc. Worldwide stats, essentially! Plus, you can now Bop in Dutch! Spreeken je Bop?

WordBopper now includes a small Apple age assurance update for places where the App Store needs it. Nothing about the bop changes: no accounts, no tracking, no ads, just a little compliance bop behind the scenes so the game can keep doing its thing.

Bop from side to side with our full Landscape orientation support for all devices! Grid Size is now adjustable in Game Settings, letting you mini-Bop from a 3x3 grid up to a challenging mega Bop in a 6x6 grid! For our southpaws out there, left-Handed Mode now has a toggle in Game Settings, swapping the controls over to the other side of the screen for easier reachability and playability in both Portrait and Landscape orientations. All hands ready to Bop!

Fixed a little issue where the chosen language wasn't being used in the valid, invalid, and duplicate word VoiceOver announcements. Now all played words will be spoken in their correct language, and you can continue bopping around the world!

No one wants lag when they are Bopping, and that's exactly what was happening when making the first word in a game. The lag has now been fixed! Bopple mode now has a Bopple Timer option in Game Settings. Choose between 3-6 minutes for the round length, or set it to Non-Stop Boppling to get rid of the pesky timer and find as many words as humanly possible! The Speak Letter Positions setting now lets you choose how you want to hear the letter positions instead of just using the numbered columns and rows.

Feel the Bop! New Game Haptics add a little more oomph to all the words you are making, plus can be turned off and will abide by your system settings if they aren't your style. The About screen now has a Missing Word button, so you can send us direct feedback about any words in any of the languages that you missed while bopping away. Under-the-hood fixes have also been made to tweak the letter frequencies in the bubble grid per language, so large gluts of the same letters will stop appearing during gameplay.

You can now bop in Brazilian Portuguese! Many more words were also added to the overall English wordlist. Keep on Boppin'!

Further improved Dynamic Type support so the Make Word and Clear Letters buttons stop cutting off their labels, plus stack vertically at larger text sizes. Bubble Letter Styles are now available in Game Settings, with Playful, Plain, and Typewriter options for customizable readability. Added a new Italian word list since the last one was woefully small. For all languages, accented characters will no longer show up as separate bubbles, just use the right vowels for the words and everything will be fine!

Bop your way across the world with this new update! You can now bop in Spanish, French, German, and Italian! Ammazza! The game is not localized yet, but you'll be able to bop words in whichever language you choose. Also it seems that BopAway bopped the 15 second Clear Word boost out of the game, so that has now been fixed. Improved Dynamic Type support across the entire app and VoiceOver fixes within Game Settings. Hasta Luego!

We have some new gameplay tweaks, so stop bopping and pay attention! BopAway has been changed up so that when you bop a letter, it immediately gets added to the word tray and gets instantly replaced in the bubble grid. No more selecting letters, you just bop in a new letter instantly and can start building longer words. If you make a mistake and have to clear the word, you lose all those letters, so stay on your toes! The Chained Words can now be made as long as three letters of your word are touching in the grid. This will allow for more flexibility when building longer words. Make three of these types of words in a row, and enjoy your 3x bonus before the timer runs out! Also altered some copy around the game and added a little backstory to the About screen.

New Game Mode! Introducing Bopple, where you make as many words as you can in 3 minutes and the letters in the grid never change. Bopple has a new scoring system, and is great for playing together in a group. Also introducing BopAway, a new option to add more challenge to your bopping! With this Game Setting turned on, deselecting letters or clearing them will automatically replace them with new letters. Bop wisely! Added a new word dictionary with over 186,000 words, so you now have many more valid words to bop. Visual fixes: bubble and word tray letters are back to being uppercase, and now accept system bold settings on top of their current bold settings, plus the letter size has been bumped up a smidge, making the letters bigger and bolder than ever! The About WordBopper button is now in Game Settings to clear up the Home Screen a bit and gives more space for your incoming best Bopple stats.

This update brings phonetics to the bubble grid! VoiceOver users can turn on the Speak Letter Phonetics option to hear "b, Bravo," "d, Delta," and "e, echo" so similar sounding letters can be identified. How to Play Instructions have been rewritten for more clarity. Deselecting bubbles now makes a sound, and the 3x multiplier countdown music stops repeating the same notes near the end of the timer.

Rearranged the layout to get the End Game button away from the Make Word button, so no more early exiting while bopping! New Game Settings for Light and Dark text modes, since no one likes text that looks like a Dalmatian while bopping! Added new VoiceOver verbosity modes, since no one likes extra noise while bopping! Also adjusted the Homescreen touch target layout for VoiceOver and added a Send Game Feedback button in the About screen.

Speak Letter Positions setting added, which lets VoiceOver users hear the column and row positions of the letters in the bubble grid. Moved Instructions into a new How to Play screen to free up space on the Home Screen. Added more fun musical cues for the 3x bonus and the round ending fanfare. Reworked layout so How to Play and Game Settings exist together near the top of the Home Screen, and Play Again and Return Home also exist at the bottom of the screen in Round Results. Adjusted touch target spacing for VoiceOver users so everything is touchable and there is no longer dead space between the screen elements. Small copy changes here and there.
