Signal is a messaging app with privacy at its core. It is free and easy to use, with strong end-to-end encryption that keeps your communication completely private.
• Send texts, voice messages, photos, videos, GIFs, and files for free. Signal uses your phone’s data connection, so you avoid SMS and MMS fees.
• Call your friends with crystal-clear encrypted voice and video calls. Group calls supported for up to 50 people.
• Stay connected with group chats up to 1,000 people. Control who can post and manage group members with admin permission settings.
• Share image, text, and video Stories that disappear after 24 hours. Privacy settings keep you in charge of exactly who can see each Story.
• Signal is built for your privacy. We know nothing about you or who you’re talking to. Our open source Signal Protocol means that we can’t read your messages or listen to your calls. Neither can anyone else. No back doors, no data collection, no compromises.
• Signal is independent and not for profit; a different kind of tech from a different kind of organization. As a 501c3 nonprofit we are supported by your donations, not by advertisers or investors.

Thank you for making improvements regularly, but i would like to request make an option of chat back up where we can save our precious memories of our Family chat, also when we go in media we can only select one item a time to save it in our mobile, when we select multiple items its only give option of deleting nothing else so plz change it and give more options like to save data and other things, hope you are reading my comments and make necessary changes
Limited experience with the app but just my two cents

Signal is currently blocked in many autocratic nations (where privacy is needed the most!). That is why it needs to come up with a smart way to bypass this probably with a VPN technology right from the loading menu aka before you make an account. Otherwise, non-tech people will simply leave the app since they won't know how to sign in. I haven't used this app for this reason but if the devs are still listening I would encourage them to put in app robust reporting features. This is because some people will misuse anonymity to send hate speech. All In all, reporting keeps a tab on that. In addition, parental control is also needed especially for an app that will give a higher level of anonymity. All of this is to balance freedom of privacy with the responsibility of basic decency. Best of luck!
Good for privacy, not much else.

It's good to see apps focusing on user privacy unlike some others. This sets it apart from the pack. I had even convinced a lot of my friends and family to shift to Signal from other apps. But the user interface is bland and doesn't offer much. It's a bad mix between simplicity and functionality without offering either. Either keep it clean and simple, or offer useful features. Then there's an issue with lag. There's been several occasions where messages had been sent but not received at the other end for a long time. And this is not an isolated incident. Seems more and more common with each update. There could be something wrong at my end but the issue replicates on all my contacts devices. Shifted back to that privacy-monster because Signal has become unusable.
Feedback: Add ability to delete messages for everyone & kindly add a new icon?
M.H.S.9.4
Amazing application but add some telegram like features such as the ability to delete messages for everyone? And add the ability to change the application icon?Update: these features have been added, kindly consider adding the ability to prevent screenshots being taken of “view-once only media” as on WhatsApp! Thank you
• Here's a toast to some additional Liquid Glass enhancements, including redesigned toast notifications.
• This update also introduces several accessibility improvements and better VoiceOver support for new Signal users within the Get Started section. Thanks, @meherkasam!
