Airly - Breathe consciously!
Airly gives you the ability to check the real-time air quality in your current location. Thanks to the largest network of sensors in Poland, the app presents reliable data on air pollution in a transparent and intuitive way, including data and calculations of exceeded standards in accordance with the latest guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Check what air you are breathing and plan activities for the next day thanks to the unique and only forecast in Poland that predicts the air quality for the next day with 96% efficiency.
The Airly app allows you to:
- air quality monitoring with 40 000 sensors and official stations located around the world,
- real-time controlling of measurements: PM1, PM2.5, PM10, gases, temperature, pressure, air humidity and wind strength and direction,
- adding sensors in locations important to the user to Favorites, in order to find important places like home or work place faster,
- receiving "push" notifications about exceeded air pollution standards in accordance with the user's preferences,
- quick access to information thanks to widgets to be installed on the phone.
According to the WHO, 99% of the world's population breathes polluted air and 2.4 billion people are exposed to dangerous levels of household air pollution. Air pollution causes 7 million people to die prematurely every year due to exposure to pollution. Air quality is a topic that is worth being interested in and monitoring the level of pollution in the place of residence.

Update: please add additional notifications when CAQI is still raising i.e. Standard is 50, next notifications at 70, 90 or every 10. It helps to adjust air purifier mode accordingly.Would be more great if you add support for Apple Watch in near future. The possibility to add complication on watch face with current readings on PM value for favorite location is something I would even pay extra as in-app purchase.
Developer Response
Thanks, we are working on it! :)
Not what I expected

This app, comparing to the other one I've been using, has access to a very limited number of air quality measuring stations, so in my case I'm not being informed about air quality in my area, but few kilometers/neighborhoods away. I think it would be a good idea to cooperate with people who own their private stations, so the data would be more accurate. Also, it's not unusual that I receive two completely different notifications about air quality within few minutes, which can be frustrating sometimes.
Love the app. Helps me every day in sports activities

The app is easy to use. Notifications are customizable. Over the last 4 yers since I have been using it the number of sensors skyrocketed and so even when I travel I can see whether it is safe for me to exercise outdoors or not (which I do every day).
disregard for users

What’s the point of developing and promoting an air monitoring app if the monitoring stations are permanently out of service? As is the case in Bytom, Poland. For about 2 months the Airly has been telling us: “Whops! The sensors (alternately: power supply) are out of order. We are already working on it.” But they’re not. Nothing happens. If you want an air pollution reading you can get one from... the station in Chorzow, 7 miles away! It’s a shame.
