A worse version of Uber
The cars are usually old, most of the rides I had there was something wrong with a car like a check engine control or you could hear something banging.
The app itself has one big issue - I’m tired of getting the notification that my driver will pick me up in less than 2 minutes and if I’ll be late, it’s 0,25zl per each minute, but then I have to wait - like today - 7 minutes in the snow for the driver.
You ask to respect the time of your drivers, then respect mine too.
European version of Uber
Bolt is not only cheaper than Uber, it's also an Estonian company trying hard to beat Uber's monopoly. Sometimes the customer support is not perfect, sometimes the car is not super clean but it's significantly cheaper than Uber and I never experienced any serious problem with Bolt.
Use at your own risk, Bolt will defend fraudsters
Many reviews mention worse user experience than other apps, but it is not the worst issue - Bolt's customer service is doing everything to avoid returning fees, even if they are wrongly charged due to a driver driving in an opposite direction... You can open a ticket, but they can simply close it without any option for you to reopen it, even if in their own answer they are quoting rules which clearly describe that you should receive a return.
If you are using such apps regurarly, you should avoid Bolt and find a more reilabe solution. If you want to test your luck and you are not afraid of possible frauds, which you will not be able to contest - go ahead.
