1 Dexcom ONE+ User Guide, 2023.
I have an issue with two things 1 I set up my alarm to 180 and it randomly goes back to 250, which is way too high and I have to change that multiple times in a day. I’ve had instances where I opened the app and it turned out that my sugar has been over 200s for some time and I didn’t get any notification because the alarm went back to 2502 when I get a notification about low/high sugar it’s only a little buzz that can be mistaken with a notification from any other app. even when I don’t have my phone on silent the notification is silent. when I open the app only then it plays a sound.I think that these notifications should be loud and persistent, because people don’t look at their phones every 5 minutes. they trust their CGMs and that the app will notify them when something is wrong. which is basically what CGMs are for.
FIX IT!

Previously, the application worked great. After the update, which did automatically, all settings are reset at odd times. I had high sugar notifications set above 140 to have time to react, before the high level. Now it AUTMATICALLY jumps to 250! So the first notification of high levels is only when the sugar rises above 250! After all, this is putting your health at risk, the app is supposed to help you stay well, and it does the total opposite! This has been happening for more than 2 weeks now. Do something about it!
Annoying notifications

Sometimes I need my phone to be completely silent. Even then notifications from this app turn on and loudly scre that something is wrong. I’ve chenged settings so the notifications repeat less frequently as it really drove me crazy to have it yell so often. Unfortunatelly that doesn’t work really well either as my new schedule is not always respected. System notifications pop up too frequently as well. I know my sensor expired but I cannot do anything about it for at least another 24h hours… no need to remind me about it every 15-30 minutes or so! Really Annoying.
Great app with a major bug
saddamlennon
I do like the app, the way it works and communicates with the user. There is a major bug- high glucose alert threshold keeps resetting regularily. This has a really negative effect on my self control, I got used to rely on alerts, and my alert levels are way lower than 250. Such bug should be hotfixed immediately, but it has been present for a longer while already. Hope that Dexcom can improve on that.
