I am very happy with this app, but…
wandanylio
An app like an app. For some, it will be weak with flaws, for others it will be great. I am a consumer who can get used to weaknesses and turn them into strengths. I am very happy with this app despite its limitations. As for the conduct of the creators, it is like this. One prefers an off-road car, the second a passenger car, and the third a pick-up. Everyone can learn to ride and get used to it, tame their flaws. However, it is unforgivable that I bought a pick-up, I get an offer from the manufacturer to improve my car, and then I come home from the service and it turns out that now he has an improved vehicle, but every month I have to pay for this improvement! After all, I didn't take a rental car! I consciously bought your app with the idea that I pay for it 1 time for life. Now such a disappointment, and it must even be called an outright fraud. I want to have the freedom to choose, as one of your users wrote, whether I stay with my lifetime version or choose a new one with a subscription. The application with the subscription should be a new item in the App Store or new features, if I need them, they could be for an additional fee. Unfortunately, if this does not change, I will be forced to return to the Apple notebook or to the good old paper and pen. I count on the common sense of the creators. Yours sincerely, MS
Teaching tool

I have been using Good notes 6 for a while now. First the praise, since I know users all more from to TLDR; From physics teaching perspective I find great utility in math assist - evaluating and solving algebraic equations, calculus, and option to assign values to variables in equation, much how MathCAD or Mathematica would have it, but without coding or even typing the equation, just handwriting. The AI chat is amazingly useful for summaries or talking to your notes when the value becomes a bit much or a quick Cue list for review. Geometry tools help a lot, so does the laser pointer, voice record, timer, and marketplace with useful templates. For what it does, the app is an absolute peak. Now for the Devs: trigonometry functions only work in equations if surrounded by [ ], which is a bit of a chore. AI credits are great, but if I am out, I wish I could link my own API credits. Lack of embedding for webpages, videos, quick-look pdfs makes this less versatile tool. Improving handwriting would be welcome, writing on ipad is not easy. Didn’t see a hide-reveal pen which is a must for review. Liquidtext had amazing idea for linking dates, topics, quotes between notes, maybe something this app could also have. Nebo included making flashcards from notes, something to consider. Select to ask AI - pen tool would have been welcome. A lot of potential still! 5 stars for motivation.
Really good, somethimes annoying, expensive
Julie_sso
I really like this app but its annoying while I am drawing, or marking something the text or the photo or the sticker starty moving. It happens not always but it is really annoying. Secound thing that annoys me is that i always use the same 2 fonts and the same size for them but it always changes me to size 24 and the „basic” font. I really don’t like it becouse it takes my time. It would be good if you could just pick your favorite font that always appears with the same size you picked. As I said on the beginning i really like this app. It’s easy and kind of fast (if not the fonts) to work on. A + is that you can add diffrent fonts from diffrent apps. I really like that tho I always use two same fonts;3. I would even more love it if it wouldn’t be so expensive. Like why do I need to pay for version 6 if I payed for version 5? (I don’t need to pay, but I’m on the „old” version. I feel that you shouldn’t pay for both of them. If you want to buy it- think of it. For me that’s a bad thing. Tho i still reccomend this app.
