The Hik-connect app is designed to work with Hikvision series DVRs, NVRs and IP cameras which support Cloud P2P function. It allows you to live view your cameras remotely. All you need to do is creating an account and adding device into the account, then you can enjoy the real-time video from cameras on a global scale. It also allows you to play back recorded video to search every milestone of your life. When motion detection alarm of your device triggered, you can get an instant message notification from Hik-connect app.

Good but can be better

Hello, why I can’t easly change wifi network in camera settings? When I move between flats I need to change wifi SSID and password and I can’t do it. I need to reset camera every time and make whole camera configurarion again to make it work under new wifi network.
It would be better if I can type a new SSID and password quickly in camera settings. Can you Please check this ?

Why you didn't fix a connection with a recorder issue for months?

Worked fine until one of last months' updates. It connects with the recorder, takes only a snapshot of a view and drops connection. In addition I can't upgrade a device version, tried many times. Reinstallation didn't help. The internet and all the devices are fine only the app has a problem. I saw in comments a few similar issues with a recorder connection from the app, why you didn't fix it yet? For now the application is completely useless for me and my cameras too as I can't monitor them on my phone. The problem exists on iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 12 and iPhone 8.

We need custom sounds!

App is not bad, yet I found two huge issues. 1) why you can’t playback recording when connected locally? 2) why you can’t change the notification sound! So ridiculous, you never know if someone is just breaching your door or just an email. One last thing is that it would be so nice if the app could check if you are connected remotely or locally and automatically use local connections when possible. So you don’t need to add each camera twice.
