Hard Bosses but Excellent
For an “older” player like myself, this game does take me back to my 16 bits teenage years but still elevated to a proper 2021 level with variety, great sound and music, lots of unique enemies, weapons, etc. and a real level of difficulty, possibly even too hard or not entirely balanced between levels you can go through without dying too much and bosses which will likely kill you 30 times average before you break their pattern or get a bit lucky.
Addictive
This game is absolutely amazing. It took hours to finish, but it was worth it. Some of the bosses were really challenging, sometimes I was lucky. One con - the game is too short. My point is that each level should be (imo) at least twice as large. Maybe in the sequel?
