The application is fine, however (used with Explorer EV), it's very limited in functions - compared to applications provided by other manufacturers of MEB-based siblings.
Very limited functionality for electric Ford vehicles

I own an electric Ford Capri, and the FordPass app feels very incomplete.•You can lock and unlock the doors, but the app does not show whether they are actually closed.•Remote climate control is available, which is nice, but if you turn it on via the app, start driving, and then turn the car off, the climate system continues running. There’s no option to set it to run only until a specific time.•Vehicle location is shown, but once the car is moving, the app only shows the last parked location. The location only updates when the car stops. Even a 2021 Hyundai Kona allows real-time location tracking while driving.•There’s no simple trip log.•Windows and the trunk cannot be controlled via the app.•Charging settings are very limited. You cannot set charging limits (e.g., charge to X%) or schedule charging times. For example, if I set charging from 22:00 to 06:00 to 80% with Battery Care enabled, and then pause and resume charging via the app, the car charges to 100% instead of 80%.Overall, the app has potential, but for electric vehicle owners, it’s frustratingly limited and unreliable in key functions.
VoiceOver support missing, features disapear

I was hoping to use remote door unlocking - no chance using voiceover on mobile and on watch. Since beginning few features canceled (for the user comfort as they said) - fuel report, security alerts. No response from developers according voiceover bug. The only thing worth to use this app is remote heating, but it works without scheduler and no option to use with apple shortcuts. Poor.
Wallbox functionality removed

With the new update the wallbox functionality got removed, now I cannot lock my wallbox or check any charging statistics. My wallbox got crippled. I think I will file for a refund. The dedicated wallbox app is only used for the initial setup and then recommends ford pass for further operations.This is outrageous.Last year I lost a security functionality where I was getting notifications of my car door was opened inside the defined schedule, now it dissappeared.
