Or just send it to other apps. And if you've got a Mac, you can even copy/paste it there. No more retyping. Feels like magic, just at your fingertips.
Additionally, Prizmo Go provides rich interactions with the captured text. After shooting, text from the original picture is revealed, and swiping through it allows fast and accurate text selection directly from the image. Selected text can then be read aloud, or you can tap to browse to any printed website address, call phone numbers, trigger Mail app from an email address, or even reveal physical address in Apple Maps and initiate navigation to that place.

Thanks for the review. The Cloud OCR is a service provided by Microsoft and it's not free for the developer, that's why we can't make it for free.
Give me a reason not to evaluate handwriting OCR

The main reason why people invest their time in checking handwriting OCR is the claim that a free app can do it. It has a hard time reading handwritten notes in English. The option to pay and see if cloud based OCR works is not very attractive.

Handwriting recognition from an image (which is know as off-line recognition, as opposed to on-line, where the full path and timing data are available) is a very hard problem that was mostly non-working until recent advances in machine learning. The technology to process handwriting is improving rapidly, and we opted to offer it as soon as possible, even though it’s really just the beginning, as it can help in certain situations. Don’t really work. I write 360 in notebook and app read it like 260 or 960. If I scan a few words it’s worst and it shows like „&@9vwvsi”!

In Prizmo Go, you must make sure you use the “Cloud OCR” option to process handwriting ; the built-in OCR only works with printed text. And even with Cloud OCR, handwriting will only work in English at this time (as specified within the app), and you may need to adapt your style a bit (we are working on documentation about this). The technology to process handwriting is improving rapidly, and we opted to offer it as soon as possible, even though it’s really just the beginning, as it can help in certain situations. We would also appreciate if you could send us a sample image of the handwritten text (English) you used to test the app with, it would surely help us for future testing. Hello, Prizmo Go comes as a free app to let users try all the features before buying. We have determined that a number of users preferred it that way, instead of paying first and then possibly be disappointed. There is indeed a one-time purchase that is available within the app which is called the Export Pack (unlocks text copy/pasting + smart interactions with recognized text) or you also have the Premium Plan subscription which unlocks all the features available within the app, including high precision cloud-operated OCR (and there are ongoing server costs, which is why there is a subscription in the first place).
