“This app is home to the best journalism in the world. If I could only afford to pay for one news source, The Economist would be that source.”
“Great app, excellent journalism! The Economist is wonderful. The content is interesting and relevant and the reporting is superlative. Equally impressive is the drive to stay relevant by presenting media in multiple formats, from print to podcasts and short videos.”
“Impeccable journalism with an app to match. The Economist doesn’t need my endorsement of the quality of their journalism. It speaks for itself. Rather, I’ll comment that their app is well-designed and refreshing to use…I love being able to easily download entire editions, listen to articles with real narrators and search for past articles.”

I am almost 60 by now and therefore I have quite a number of items stacked into drawers beneath my biblioteque. Among them are a number of copies of Economist which I used to order and surely read from cover to cover in late 90s and at the beginning of XXI c. I was 37-42 by then. Now that my son and business partner has turned 37 he has offered me to share his digital subscription of your magazine which I gladly accepted.Back then In the 90s I used to make first steps in business activity when Poland had just emerged from communism. It was hard but predictable. Now we succeed with my son in joint ventures and our bank account is considerable though surely it is not a fortune, yet in my eyes it’s even better as quick money may become a curse. What is sad is that The Economist is again a window to the better world in a country governed by uneducated populists dismantling what we managed to build as a society and installing puppet figures in politics and economy. Finally you can spare money on air tickets as you more often than not wake up in a mixture of Venezuela and Iran instead of in the middle of Europe. So we keep working and reading The Economist. Thank you...
Performance issues
Stephangor
I’ve been using the app for a long time snd I noticed that the performance has degraded significantly recently. When navigating from one screen to another it is very difficult not to notice the lagging screen change animation. To reproduce this just tap on any article from the Home Screen and then swipe back to return to the Home Screen again, the animation freezes for a couple of seconds.
The app is continuously improving!

In the past 5️⃣ years, my digital subscription to The Economist has been instrumental in shaping my approach to global affairs. 🔍🗺️ The publication's commitment to objective analysis cuts through the noise of sensationalized reporting, prioritizing insights that truly matter. 👈 This rigorous journalistic approach has not only expanded my knowledge base but has also demonstrably enhanced my decision-making capabilities. I highly recommend The Economist app to anyone seeking a trusted source of in-depth, unbiased journalism.
One of my favorite app so far to read news

This is a great place to read and gain interesting perspectives on what is going on in the world with excellent analysis and insight. From a technical perspective regarding the app itself, please consider adding a feature to sync saved and read articles between devices. I read on both my iPhone and iPad, and it’s a pity that I can’t see saved articles on both devices. Apart from that, great work!
We've made general improvements and fixed bugs for a smoother experience.
