Not worth paying for

If this was a free app, I’d say it could have potential. But as it stands, for 40zl/mo, it’s ridiculously bad. The UI itself is improper, asking me multiple times what city I’m on and welcoming me, even though I didn’t move. I’ve had 20 people assigned to me. Out of those 20, I had to be the one initiating and scheduling things and even then I only managed to actually meet 3. A lot of people don’t even reply. But even then there’s no option for you to skip someone, you need to wait 24 hours to try again. The only thing that gives the app two stars is that by paying, there is a certain selection of the crowd that uses the app. So generally speaking I haven’t faced any bots or fake profiles.

MaslorG, thanks for the feedback! The Breakfast is membership-based to ensure that all our members approach every new introduction with the same level of intention and respect. 3 breakfasts out of 20 chances is a great ratio, congrats! Regarding the app asking for your location, most probably you didn't allow location permission, therefore the app keeps asking you for your current city. You can set it to "Allow location while using the app" to avoid this.

Dunno why this app has such a low rating, I’m a former UIUX designer and I love everything about it. Both experience and value it gives are outstanding. Keep it up The Breakfast Team (I know you read this!)

Terrible onboarding experience

I spent around 30 minutes carefully creating my profile, uploading photos, writing descriptions, choosing interests and even selecting favorite places. Only after all that effort did the app reveal that I had to pay to actually use its core functionality. The problem isn’t that the app is paid. Developers have every right to charge for their product. The problem is deliberately hiding the paywall until after the user has invested significant time completing the onboarding process.Be transparent and show the pricing before asking people to spend half an hour building a profile. This feels manipulative and shows very little respect for users’ time.1 star for the onboarding experience alone.

Not worth money and time

Looks like other app for dinner meetings, but functions like: we show you randomly ONE profile for 24h (for one month i was there around 7 days were empty - « we are not having match for u ») and then you have to set up meeting 1:1 by yourself. For what is the payment then? Besides, no age in profiles, very limited information in general
