Fantastic app for tracking, I've been using it for, like, over two years now? Something like that, it's been forever. Tracking great, sleep recordings are awesome, I don't think the sleep stages thing is accurate but it does provide a general picture. Protip: make sure you set an extra alarm, though. Sometimes, Sleep Cycle just bugs out and doesn't go off (very, very rarely, but it's better to not be caught off guard). What I do is if I set Sleep Cycle for 6am, I set the regular iPhone alarm to 6:01am. This way I'm double sure I'll be up on time. Other than that occasional bug, great app!

I have been using this app for almost a decade and love it, but in recent weeks I have noticed big increases of battery drainage during the nights. Before the app drained 20-30% of the battery but nowadays it’s rather 50-60%, so it’s troubling and I hope will get fixed soon.

I’m very dissapointed with Sleep Cycle. After my free trial I was charged 100 zł (about $23) without receiving any notification about the trial ending. When I asked for a refund, I was told that they don’t issue refunds - which I didn’t know in advance. I appealed explaining that as a student, the charged amount is very significant to me, especially since I only used the app once during the trial and wasn’t informed about it’s end. Unfortunately, they responded with the same refusal, offering no understanding or consideration of my situation. The lack of communication and customer service is appalling. I won’t be using this app again.
