Truly an awesome app
𝖓𝖎𝖛𝖛𝖖
This is the opposite of all the other editing apps. It's acctually organised and not *everything* is paid, so it's really nice. It's also smooth, never kicked me out yet but if it did to you check your mobile data (too much of it causes lags). You can create anything you want with the stickers, and the filters are just amazing. They're free, and you can layer them to the moon. You can scroll through a community gallery and look for inspirations, filters. Overall, I'm in love with how this is made and I hope not everything is gonna be paid like in all the other editing apps. ❤️
1/5 Stars: Picsart is a Paywall Editor, Not a Photo Editor
naspiratd
Absolutely useless unless you pay for a subscription.I downloaded Picsart hoping for a powerful, creative editing tool, but what I got was essentially a feature demo disguised as a free app. The moment you open it, you’re hit with constant, unavoidable prompts to subscribe to 'Gold' or 'Pro'—it feels like the app requires money just to breathe. The most frustrating part is the crippling paywall on essential features. You can spend 20 minutes meticulously editing a photo, only to find the app locks you out of the final steps. It demands a subscription just to save your work, forcing you to either pay up or resort to taking a low-quality screenshot of your own edit, which often includes the watermark or interface clutter anyway.Every decent filter, every cool effect, every useful tool (like background removal or premium text) is behind a massive, unavoidable payment barrier. Why bother offering a "free" version when the core functionality—actually producing and saving a high-quality finished image—is completely paywalled? This isn't a free app with optional paid features; it's a paid app that gives you a frustrating, time-wasting demo. Save your time and find an editor that actually lets you create something without constantly demanding cash.

throws me out and shuts down while i edit
scienceoffly
the app often lags, freezes, glitches and throws me out halfway through editing a photo, not saving the results, so I have to do something from scratch again. I have had this problem for a few years now, when I use this app, and nothing improves. especially when I erase the background, apply stickers, bokeh or add some elements to the photos/use pen, those problems return.update: the fact that you can’t use app while being offline is the biggest downgrade in the history because it doesn’t load pictures from the gallery and most of features are unavailable. i often edit while traveling but that means my internet doesn’t always work so it’s very troublesome for me. for years i’ve been having problem with picsart generally changing for worse. i first started using it around 10 years ago and for the past five and i’ve been slowly but gradually looking and finding apps that have similar or better features and could replace picsart since it’s unreliable. i think it’s time i let this app go. generally wouldn’t recommend if you edit a lot, unless you’re okay with paying for everything and you’re always online.

Most of what we build doesn't wait for an app update. While this one tidies up a few bugs, the real action happens behind the scenes-new features, fresh content, stickers, and templates dropping all the time. Stay close to our socials so you don't miss a thing.
