The app is very good and you can buy and sell stuff conveniently IF you and the buyer/seller are on peaceful terms and no error disrupts the selling process. Whenever there's a problem with the other side of the transaction or in case of a bug/random issue of any sort - the "support" is NOT there to help you. Sure, there is a centre, you can submit your help request and there's even space for problem description and attachments. Too bad no once cares to truly process and address it. Your request is primarily reviewed by bots which are not useful nor helpful in any way. They seem to be the cheapest, tackiest, most basic-level AI impersonators that frown upon almost every ask for help. Even if your issue finally reaches real people, they only get back to you after WEEKS (speaking from my own experience), when the matter is no longer of strong relevance. The support staff is often just as helpful as the bots. They either say they're unable to do anything or, again, after WEEKS of holding off any action, they say that the case has become out-of-date! That being said, I feel like with every purchase I make, with every item I sell, I'm taking some sort of a gamble, which is not supposed to be the impression on this kind of platform!
Harassed and threatened by the seller and ignored by the support.

It all started when I found a blouse on the platform. My mom wanted me to buy it so I did. After the delivery was successful the seller asked me to write a review about them and confirm the delivery. So I did. I wrote about how she sent it a bit late and how the seller never really messaged me about anything (which I found weird since other sellers were really nice to me and messaged me abt everything) and I gave her 3 stars (later changed to four). She reached out to me and kept asking for my phone number. I told her that I don’t wanna reveal my personal info but she just couldn’t understand. I later found out that she was mad that I gave her 4 stars instead of 5 and that she was threatening me to send the conversations on some groups and to report me to vinted support. She thought I was one person messaging her that supposedly had 3 other accounts to message her only because I live in the same town as the people, and it’s not a small town. She wrote to me how she couldn’t measure the blouse because she doesn’t have a ruler (??) and she got even more mad after I said rulers aren’t for measuring clothing but for school students. Vinted did nothing about it even if I made valid points and they said “we’ve not found anything that breaks our guidelines”.
Don’t accept unfair treatment, the law is on your side in the EU!

If you are facing injustice or unfair bans on Vinted, please know that you actually have power and can hold them accountable. It is much simpler than it seems, because EU consumer law fully protects you. I personally faced severe issues with their customer support, which actively protects dishonest sellers instead of helping buyers. When a seller canceled my paid order just to resell the item at a higher price and blocked me, support refused to issue the automatic 1-star penalty rating required by their own public rules, directly misleading me and leaving the seller completely unpunished. On top of that, their AI bot wrongfully banned my listing, and despite appealing immediately, support ignored the case for over a month. Once they finally manually unbanned it, the exact same AI bot instantly blocked it again. If you experience similar support negligence, do not just stay silent. Under the Digital Services Act (DSA, Article 20) and EU Consumer Law, Vinted is legally required to maintain fair moderation and properly resolve user issues. Every EU country has a national Consumer Protection Authority and a local Consumer Ombudsman. Sending them a quick email with your screenshots takes just a few minutes, but it forces regulators to act. Mass complaints are exactly what led to Vinted receiving multi-million euro fines in the EU before. Your voice truly matteors, so demand the fair treatment you deserve!
Do not buy or sell!

I've been using the platform for three years, and here's what I can say: three years ago, it was a really good platform and team. Now, they promise me a response from consultants within 48 hours, but it never happens. And when I contact support about this issue, they close the conversation. They used to take 24 hours at most. Now they've expanded and have more clients and more problems, but they're not hiring new employees, despite significantly increasing their customer protection fees. The quality of these employees also leaves much to be desired; the consultants can't do simple things, like help with simple questions. Basically, they're charging more and more money, but the help center isn't being developed. A lot of counterfeits are selling. They used to ban them somehow, but now they've stopped. They only ban genuine items, calling them counterfeit and then banning them. A consultant tried to convince me that a sweater I bought from an authentic store wasn't genuine. Incidentally, it passed the Grailed check and quickly sold there. I also can't point out the shadow bans. You'll sell your first 3-5 items quickly, but then Vinted will hide your ads to force you to buy promotions. They're ripping you off. If you're ready to clear out your closet, it's best to use another platform, and if you're ready to buy, be VERY careful, as support won't help you.
We’ve improved performance and fixed bugs to make selling and scoring second-hand easier than ever.
