The app is great but I would like to mention some of the drawbacks I noticed.I used to learn flags, paintings and countries on the map some years ago in this app and now it is gone. I see in the replies below that it can still be found on the web site and linked to the account, but why should I go to the web site? Why not make it available in the app? It would be convenient to my mind… Also - this is very subjective - but I do not like the design of the app, to me it is overloaded with details, some of the fonts are too small and the info is hard to perceive…

So, the idea with short videos is great, but the execution is really backwards.- i remember some time ago I could switch between the languages of the subtitles. Now this crucial function is removed - I don’t see a point of showing the words before the video. We are supposed to Hear them, aren’t we? And we want to check the translations after the video. Words before the video are just spoilers! It kills the fun- after watching a video, I am always being thrown out of that tab. It is very irritating - no logical connection with the flow. I practice words from a certain scenario , then it suggests me to watch a video with the most basic words- completely disconnected from the topic of my scenario- new words from the videos cannot be trained like in scenarios UPDATE: - membot should not be on bright white background in dark mode!- membot is way too stupid- it would be much more interesting to talk to smarter AIRegarding the main functionality:- learning new words becomes really boring after a week - learning 1-2 words at a time is way too easy- it doesn’t stay in the memory, because in reality we need to remember a word out of hundreds or thousands other words.- a lot of words just repeat - no pre-set regular repeating activity - when I check my knowledge of the learned words, I want to mark some as hard. - If I don’t know the word during check, it should not stay tagged as “learned“ , It should switch to ‘in progress’So, there’s definitely a room for improvement

Better choose another app to learn Polish

I am really disappointed by the content for learning Polish. The application suggested me to make one life-time purchase and I payed 179,99 PLN (~45 USD), because the interface of the app is clean and simple and it seemed well done. But then during the learning sessions I regretted spending my money because the quality of the word sets, and videos (really bad quality sketches with sometimes just one easiest word in it, just lacking any sense situations…), and word translations are weird sometimes. Also you can’t peak a word set to study or change your language level.. Checked everywhere: in the application and in AppStore if I can refund my money - but didn’t found such option. My verdict is that this app isn’t worthy to spend 179,99 PLN, at least not for learning Polish language. I decided to delete it even tho I spend so much money for it, because I just can’t use it 🥲
