Mushroom season is here! Save your spots, find your way back with the compass and log every find. Download and start foraging!
Found a great spot for porcini, but how do you get back next year? Mushroom Hunt is your personal foraging journal with map and compass that remembers every find.
Start an expedition and let the app track your route. When you find a mushroom, snap a photo and save the location with one tap. The app automatically adds weather, GPS coordinates, and date. Next time, use the compass to guide you straight back to your saved spot.
EXPEDITIONS
Track your route in real time. See your path on the map, hiking duration, and number of mushrooms found. Get a summary with statistics when you finish.
FINDS MAP
All your mushrooms in one place. Browse the map with species icons, filter by type, and find the best spots from previous seasons.
NAVIGATION COMPASS
Select a mushroom on the map and go. The compass shows direction, distance, and estimated walking time.
MUSHROOM CATALOG
Every find with photo, species, location, weather, and custom tags. Search and browse your collection.
LIVE ACTIVITY
Track your expedition without unlocking your phone. Time, distance, and mushroom count visible on lock screen and Dynamic Island.
COMMUNITY OBSERVATIONS (optional)
You can choose to share an anonymous "found / not found" signal for a spot – entirely voluntary. It helps improve mushroom forecasts for the whole community. No account, no identity, no route history.
Happy hunting!
