Description
Medicover App is a mobile version of Medicover Online Patient Website. It allows quick searching and making medical appointments in Medicover Centre with doctors of any specialty you need. If you can’t come to an appointment, you can easily postpone or cancel it. And if you have any questions after the appointment, you can ask your doctor by clicking “Ask a question”. You can also check results of your examinations or provide yourself with continuous treatment by ordering prescriptions to chronic medications. Use your data on Medicover Online Patient Website to log in to the App. Take on comfort! Apply mobile management of your health.
Medicover App was created especially for Medicover patients so that they can manage their health from every place in the world. It is a mobile version of Medicover Online Patient Website.
A transparent interface and intuitive navigation allow comfortable ordering of prescriptions to chronic medications, checking examination results, contacting the doctor after the appointment, analysing referrals or arranging an appointment with a medical specialist.
Healthcare with Medicover has never been so easy!
To keep your private data safe, the access to the App is protected with a password which you can collect at the reception desk of Medicover Centre. You can also log in to the App with your fingerprint or faceID. You can use this facility if your smartphone is equipped with biometric scanners.
Once you have logged in to the App, you can:
• Order e-prescriptions to chronic medications and thus, provide yourself with continuous treatment.
• Check your examination results, both laboratory and imaging ones. The results will be commented by the doctor.
• Make an appointment with a particular medical specialist in a city, Medicover facility and at the time you choose, thanks to options available in a browser.
• Postpone or cancel the appointment if you can’t come for any reason.
• Send a question to the doctor after the appointment in case you have any additional questions or doubts.
• Order medical documentation which will be prepared for you to collect at a Centre chosen by you.
• Look through issued referrals, selecting them by the date of issuance or status “done” or “undone”
• Have access to the full history of your visits and examination results
All listed functions are free of charge. You can use them as long as your health is under the care of Medicover. Take on comfort! Apply mobile management of your health.

Version 1.15.0
In this release of the app, we have focused on implementing significant improvements to enhance your experience with the app. We’ve also added a notification about available services at Medicover.
We pay attention to every detail, so in this update, we've fixed bugs and continue working to make the app even more user-friendly.
Ratings and Reviews
Good, but some areas needs major improvements
Test results, scheduling a visit is really good, esp. with Touch ID. There are few areas to improve though:
1. E-visit through a web view is a huge no-no. How I’m suppose to wait 30 minutes in queue to get a chance to chat with doctor and keep the app constantly open? Sorry, but no, but then this breaks my wait in queue so this option doesn’t work at all
2. Paying for a visit through app. If I can confirm my presence register for a visit, then paying in the app would be also helpful.
No doctors on chat available for hours!
I wanted to get a simple thing, which is a paper for having my blood test done. I enterem the panel for a chat with a doctor at 9:00 a.m. sharp (on 8th March the chat was only available between 9:00 and 12:00). After I typer in the important information, the app wanted me to wait butik the connection with a doctor is established. I was waiting for 3 hours!… and bobowy responded. In the kwantowe, in the app Windows I could see the changing waiting time. Initially it said „0” but I wasn’t connected to anyone. Then, I refreshed my inquiry and I got info that I need to wait approx. 60 minutes. Do I patiently waited. After 11:00 (not to mention that between 9:00 and 11:00 there is more that 60 minutes) I swą that the waiting time got changed to 37 and then to 25 minutes. But until 12:00 p.m. still bobowy responded. I could wait like this till my death…
12:05 I decided to refresh again. What happened? The chat was no longer available because the time window was exceeded.
That’s how Medicover treats people and the money they pay to naively think that they would get an appointment within the subscription.
Very poor app compared to main competition
A very poor app compared to competition, especially when using multiple accounts (own + kids’ ones):
1. Only one account can have Face ID enabled. The others require entering a password every single time.
2. The Face ID-enabled account is logged in automatically without me clicking anything. If I want to get to a kid’s account, I need to be quick or I need to log out of my own account first.
3. Synchronizing visits with a calendar doesn’t work for secondary accounts. You can enable it, but it disables itself automatically. After reinstalling the app, even syncing the primary account stopped working - if I enable calendar access in iOS settings, it asks me about the calendar to sync to in a loop; the app is unusable then.
4. You can’t use the app without a paid account. This means no scheduling of paid visits, no looking at availability before the contract goes into effect, no access after the contract expires.
5. Just now, the app went into an infinite loop verifying my Face ID. I couldn’t do anything - killing an app, restarting the phone didn’t change anything. I reinstalled the app - even that didn’t help! I had to completely disable Face ID.
Everything above works just fine in the app of one of the main competitors of Medicover.
Invest more into the app, it’s one of your core products! There’s no excuse for doing such a poor job here.
