It got worse over time
This app is not keeping up with the time.
I was trying to change my email today and the app kept saying it's incorrect. I had to sign up (not sign in) using that email and deactivate the account. After that, I was allowed to change to that email.
In the process of changing the email I noticed that many parts of UI look really ugly, like those static 90's websites, alerts kept shouting at me for no good reason. It was unbelievably uncomfortable experience.
The app didn't change at all, I wanted to quit some of the old groups but I have to do it one by one, all 60 of them. Each time starting by opening the group view, clicking leave, and confirming that I don't want to leave a message for organizers. The loading times are very visible, so each the whole thing for one group takes ~20 seconds. Times 60 gives 20 minutes of my time wasted.

The concept of “Meet up” is awesome, the selection or choices of the locations is perfect, I have to admit that we need in Poland more and more initiatives to raise the culture of tolerance and diversity, such activity will boost the sense of “Doing business” and Making business”.
However, being foreign and Pole in the same time and knowing Poland for the last 30 years or more, would allow me to say that we still see the lack of tolerance of other religions or cultures, I will give example : I am an Arab Muslim and I am fully supportive to such activity as well I am fully interested in Polish society but I still suffer of disrespect toward my religion and culture, such as creating an event by “Meet up” forgetting that they put Alcohol as a part of the event , I don’t see it “tolerance and respect” to my religion, therefore I have two choices either drop the values of my religion or drop Meet up!!!??? In this case I will drop “Meet up” 100%, because my religion is more important in my life. So I recommend the administration or organizers of Meet up to look into this with justice and fair rules for everyone. Include in the application form online if the person is Muslim or not, one single Muslim should change the way Meet up is established. Good luck.
