The story of Morphite takes place in a far off future when humanity has long since populated the distant reaches of space. The player takes on the role of Myrah Kale, a young woman residing on a space station and workshop under the care of her surrogate father, Mr. Mason. What starts as a simple exploratory mission to gather supplies to support their shop rapidly turns into a journey revealing Myrah’s unknown past and her relationship to a rare, coveted, and nearly extinct material called Morphite.
In order to unlock and understand the mysteries of her past, Myrah must travel to undiscovered planets, roam uncharted sectors of space, and confront exotic creatures and locales in search of this Morphite.
Aside from the main storyline, the worlds of Morphite are randomly generated. Encounter various creature types, landscapes, caves, rivers, and more to explore. Explore large space stations, abandoned or infested with alien life.

Charming, addictive, retro. Explore space, the space of an old computer.
The game is a blend of Metroid and No Man’s Sky, but it doesn’t try to surpass any of the two, it has strong identity in being a beautiful game, were the flaws of old school gaming become features.
Few textureless polygons create beautiful landscapes.
The limited area of exploration per planet is perfect for mobile gameplay times!
The silly A.I. and the bare bones combat are actually refreshing, pushing you to focus on exploration.
Low rendering distance in the asteroid fields, definitely by design, places the challenge in this simulated technical limitation, more than on the asteroids.; enjoyable!
If you don’t like meta, retro, calm gameplay, design, avoid this.
If you like that the real enemy sometimes is the draw distance, a silly bug and that your friend is a clip of polygons blocking a monster, if you like simple breathtaking landscapes, and you don’t mind some slow paced repetition, get this!
P.S. deactivate all the filters from the settings... the game is way better looking without.

Nice graphics but...
Game is boring. Plot is very weak. Sound is poorly designed and the controls are annoying. I've expected something way better developed for that price.
