Description
As of September 15th, 2022, support for My Passport Wireless will be limited to critical security updates. To learn more, see the description of "Limited Updates" on our Product Support Lifecycle page.
Support for your My Cloud device has changed, and some devices are no longer supported with this app. We’ve developed a new OS to keep up with evolving security standards. Compatible devices must be Upgraded to My Cloud OS 5 by January 15, 2022. Incompatible devices will lose support on April 15, 2022, and need to use local access to manage your content. For more details, please visit https://www.westerndigital.com/mycloudupdates.
Functionalities with the My Passport Wireless products remain unchanged. You can continue to wirelessly access, organize and stream content from your phone or tablet using the My Passport Wireless app.
Note: The My Passport Wireless app requires a My Passport Wireless device to work (sold separately).
My Cloud Home users please download the My Cloud Home app.

Ratings and Reviews
Clumsy, but works. Need to integration with Files ⬅️ urgent 🗯🕙
Suggestions:
• Add integration with new “Files” app. Don’t lag behind. I expect you to care as a manufacturer, WD
• When browsing files, consider moving this little arrow from text field on the left to center text field
IOS12
Hi WD,
There seems to be an issue with WD CLOUD app post Apple’s iOS 12 update. When trying to open avi clips directly from app an error appears stating that none of my iOS application can open the file as clip is in unsupported format. I do use OPlayerHDlite and had no issues on iOS11.x. Workaround is to dl file and then use <open with> option, but as said it requires a download.
Can you have a look and associate WD CLOUD app with OPlayerHDLite (and possible other players)?
Missing important feature
I can’t understand how is possible that you can upload all photos at once, but you can’t download them back to your mobile to the camera roll (only one by one). I if I would know this before for sure I wouldn’t buy it. It’s something that is being requested in the forum since 2013 and nothing was done...
