Description
Note: Access to a Nextcloud server with the Notes app installed is required to use this app. Visit https://nextcloud.com for more information.
Nextcloud Notes is a notes editor that syncs with the Notes app (https://github.com/nextcloud/notes/releases) on your server.
Once you have logged in to your server, all notes will be kept in sync between devices and also the web interface. Optionally supports sync on startup.
You can create and delete notes directly on the device. Notes can be organized in categories. Edit as plain text or use markdown for rich formatting. Notes can be copied or exported to other apps or services in several formats.
If you have a sync client (optional) installed on your desktop computer all notes will be there too, and can be edited with any text editor.

Automatic titles
It works great apart from one thing: note titles. Is it possible to have some kind of automatic titling system similar to the native iOS app? Right now when I click on plus to create new note even when I give it a header with # it stays as 'New Note' on the note list screen and has to be edited by long pressing the note and clicking 'Rename' which is not convenient at all.
Works fine sometimes crashes though
FEATURE REQUEST: possibility to display notes in the following ways:
- edit
- preview mode
- remember last selection
Loses data
It seems like an afterthought in the Nextcloud ecosystem. It regularly throws up huge red nonsensical sync errors, which shouldn’t even exist in the first place (just try again if you fail to sync for some reason).
More worryingly, it regularly forgets the last few words of what I’ve written on the phone.
Much room for improvement.
