Inviting your partner now works properly. A link lasts a month instead of two days, and it survives installing the app, so an invite no longer goes quiet halfway through. If one does run out, you are told rather than left wondering. Tapping a topic under Coach now opens with a question instead of a guess about what is wrong. Account has a new switch for whether your coach may use what you have each written about the day's question. It is on by default, and the coach never repeats either of you to the other.

The coach starts answering several seconds sooner, and while it works you now see a gentle animation instead of three dots. Settings now links to our other apps, LeaderWise and ParentsWise.

Your daily reminder now shows the actual question waiting for you, instead of a generic line. It was being written once and never updated. The lock screen now looks a week ahead rather than one night, and lets go of that week whenever you change what you want to practice. Coach replies are no longer hidden behind the message box.

Your first practice now says there is no right answer before it asks you anything, so it is clear you are being asked rather than tested.

The reminder ask now appears at the end of a coaching conversation, where you already are, rather than waiting for a moment on the Today screen that rarely came. Fixed: tapping twice could start two conversations instead of one.

What your answer means now opens in its own panel, with one button to take it further. The coach arrives already knowing what you answered, so it carries on instead of asking you again. Fixed: an answer could stay on screen after the practice had changed, and returning to the coach could start a second conversation instead of continuing the one you were in.

Answer today's question, then say a bit more in your own words — the coach picks up from what you wrote, so there's no blank screen to start from. If none of the answers fit, or more than one does, you can now say so instead of choosing. Plus fixes to how answers are saved.

If your partner can already see your needs, you can now choose to let them know when you change them. Easier to read: more contrast, larger text throughout. And a set of fixes to things appearing late, twice, or in the wrong place.

Your practice now comes with you. Answer a question first and create an account later — what you did as a guest carries over instead of being left behind. The coach now says something useful when it's busy, rather than showing a technical error. Smoother transitions when you finish a session.

You can now try a practice before creating an account. Answer today's question first, and whatever you said comes with you if you decide to sign up. The coach now replies as it writes, so you're reading within a second instead of waiting for the whole answer. Daily reminders are more reliable, if you turned them on before and never received one, this fixes it.

Sometimes none of the answers quite fit. You can now talk it through with your coach without choosing one first. Turning on the daily reminder now works when you tap Allow — it could previously fail and tell you notifications were blocked. We were also asking you two things in a row — a question, then another the moment you dismissed it. Now it's at most one a day. Smaller things: the tab bar is easier to see, your partner's email no longer sits under their name on Account, and "pick up where you left off" only appears when there's actually something else waiting.

Onboarding is quicker — three steps instead of six, and we ask about notifications after your first practice rather than before you've seen anything. You can now tell us what to call your partner, so the app stops showing their email address where their name belongs. Also fixed: a prompt that asked for details you'd already given, a tip you couldn't dismiss, and a few places where things sat in the wrong order.

Every daily practice now has answers. Tap the one that's actually true for you — there's always an honest option, not just a flattering one — and you'll get a short piece of writing about what that answer usually means, drawn from the research behind the question. Want to go further? Your coach now picks up from the answer you gave instead of starting cold, and knows when a conversation has reached its natural end rather than always asking one more question. You can also tap the author beneath any question to read about the thinking behind it. Fixed: parenting questions no longer show up if you haven't told us you have children.
