Great but difficult to crack down on
This is my first 3d sculpting experience. I’ve been using the app for several weeks and generally enjoy it a lot. Once you get the basics, it’s fairly easy to navigate within the image. It’s great for generating those plasticine-looking forms, but doesn’t allow to work with details.
I wish there were instructions or tutorials available beside the few youtube videos. The app has some functions that remain mystery to me. This makes it more of a fun pastime thing than a software with some more advanced potential.
My favorite sculpting app. But it looks like it’s been abandoned
Great app.
Sadly it looks like the app has been abandoned by the developer.
Fewer update by every year.
The last real feature update was 3-4 years ago.
The good thing about this app.
It has life like sculpting. You can add and remove clay. In a very similar way as working with real clay.
The interface is simple
You can pretty much learn the interface within 30 min.
The lighting effects is a little hidden. But very cleaver made.
Pinch, move with your fingers to change the direction and intensity.
I prefer this a lot over the Forger app and Zbrush. etc.
The downside of the app.
- No import option.
- One by one file export. It takes all day.
- Limit of details. A detailed face is so and so possible.. But not an entire detailed figure.
