As a Plus user I’m disappointed after new updates
Quizlet used to be great tool for self learning and repeating. I got to the advanced level of french mostly thanks to this app, but now after years of using it I feel that it became overpriced and useless. Crucial writing and listening mode got removed, despite that fact learn mode didn’t change even a bit, it’s repetitive and its personalisation is a joke. It’s created based on a single question, despite that fact you always get the same format. Quizlet didn’t get any new feature, but removed and made it exclusive for premium users.
Won’t be really helpful if you can’t afford premium
I used to learn new words using this app before english or german tests. It was usually over 400 words for english and 200 for german. Using this app helped me so much, I was able to literally learn all of this one evening. Writing mode was my favourite, learning was easy and extremely effective. I didn’t use the app during summer break. I have a german exam tomorrow and I wanted to learn the vocabulary. I noticed there were some changes but that’s not even a problem. I opened writing test and when I made a mistake the app accepted the answers every time. I tried to change the settings- didn’t work. I couldn’t even click the “my answer was wrong” button because it wasn’t reacting. I had to refresh it every time. But surprisingly, it isn’t the worst thing that happened to this app! Turns out you can do the writing test like 3 times for every set if you don’t buy premium! Wow! That’s literally the worst idea ever! I thought someone created this app to help students but I should’ve known it’s always about money eventually. Unfortunately I can’t afford buying premium so thanks for making me believe learning can be fun and now making it harder I guess.

Bardzo fajna aplikacja. Zawsze przed testem z angielskiego uczę się tu nowych słówek i wyrażeń. Bardzo polecam wam tą aplikację, ponieważ naprawdę szybko uczy i z pewnością polepszy wasze oceny np. Ja zawsze dostawałam 5 z testu, a teraz dostaje 5+ lub 6.
A very nice application. Always before the test in English, I learn new words and expressions here. I highly recommend this application to you because it really teaches you and will certainly improve your ratings, eg I always got 5 of the test and now I get 5+ or 6.
