Stability & Battery Fixed an issue where Sonidata could show hours of Screen Time even when you weren't using the app. The audio engine now properly shuts down when you're not recording or monitoring, so the app no longer keeps running silently in the background. Improved database resilience: if the internal database is corrupted after a system update, Sonidata now automatically recovers instead of crashing on every launch. Audio & Recording Recordings in Mono, Dual Mono, and M/S modes now include an automatic +3 dB level boost to match the volume of True Stereo recordings. This compensates for the difference between iOS-processed audio and raw microphone signal. The digital gain slider now works correctly on first launch. Previously, new users could experience silent recordings until they adjusted the gain manually. Siri & Shortcuts New voice commands: "Open my Sonidata Library" and "Open Sonidata Map" let you navigate hands-free. You can also ask "How many recordings do I have?" to get a quick count and total duration. Desktop Companion The Sonidata Embed popup now appears after every app update with a What's New section, so you always know about the latest desktop features.
