Perfect!

It's a great app that can really affect your day-to-day life. What I greatly appreciate is the fact that I can mark a task as completed in the past - I work late and go to sleep late, so sometimes I'd like the task I completed after midnight to account for the previous day. Actually, this would be a feature request from me: a "shifted" day. It would be perfect, if I could configure that my day starts at 03:00 and ends at 02:59 - not 00:00 to 23:59.Edit: apparently there is an option for that in settings already ("start day at"). I missed that before :)
This app is weird.

Software engineer here. Can’t comprehend why does it requires background app refresh to display the timer across devices. Other apps with very similar design can get ahead without it. Sometimes I see a black screen and the countdown on Apple Watch while multitasking in the dock. If the UI drops, just render the countdown with task name or allow me to choose myself how do I want to see time left for timed task. Lack of Up Next view on Apple Watch is a massive turn off for me. I use four separate pages to group tasks by nature: physical, mind etc. The dots widget on AW isn’t dynamic so once a day task gets complete I cannot see a new one I can accomplish from a different page. For repetitive timed tasks: lack of notification repeat if frustrating. Let’s say I make squats 8 times per day each hour. The only way for me to get reminded is by manually entering times for each of those. Rather than following a more rational flow: get a notification -> squat -> countdown starts once the user taps the round is completed. I would say with the current functionality this app is worth around 50% of the asking price.

I had a number of tasks set in fortnightly intervals that seem to have disappeared in the latest update with all those tasks silently transformed to daily... Even if I was the only guy on the planet to use that option, I don't really see it doing any harm to anybody. But if it did then still a word of warning would be nice. Instead, I have now two extra pages for more tasks even though I remember vividly you used to claim you kept the number of tasks at 12 on purpose and had absolutely no intention to increase it. Just as I had to think hard to limit myself to 12, I can now think to expand the list above 12. But first I would love to be able to hide unused pages. Where's the "task sort" view?
