Good product with major annoyances
My son has MT40X which runs solid over one year. The app is good, but I see no interest of TCL in improving it any further. The most annoying are (1) late evening notifications about daily steps, that seriously is not that important. Why I must receive this every late evening!? No way to turn this off other than turning all the notifications. Also (2) voice messages often have loading problems. How about preloading the messages ASAP rather waiting me to tap first? Finally (3) left edge swipe does not work as Back as in other places on iPhone. Please fix this annoyances and you will have solid product and 5 stars.
School time
Cannot be set, when you click on it to set , feature disappears. Update did not solve the problem.
Calendar and alerts/notifications
Notifications do not work properly. I scheduled one a month ago and it’s on every day since that day even though it was one time notification. From the calendar view it’s off but it’s ringing every day.
Also alerts do not work. There’s nothing scheduled but it’s ringing.
Other than these malfunction the watch and app is ok ✅
