Short intro
Watchatapp is a social, AR-powered way to discover and connect with people nearby—instantly. See glowing AR spheres around you, tap to send a friend request, and once accepted, chat privately and securely.
How it works
When you see a blinking profile screen nearby . Someone is using Watchatapp. They 're ready to connect . Open the app, tap the AR button to access your camera, and move your device to spot nearby spheres, tap to send a friend request, and once accepted, chat privately and securely. You can also browse a real-time list via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanning. We don’t permanently store precise locations; proximity is ephemeral.
Key Features
• AR Discovery: See virtual spheres for nearby users through your camera.
• Real-Time Nearby: Fast BLE scanning to find who’s close—no permanent location storage.
• Tap-to-Connect: Send and receive friend requests with one tap.
• Private Chat: Secure 1-to-1 messaging with image sharing after friendship is accepted.
• Multiple Sign-In Options: Apple, Google, phone number, or email (used only for authentication).
• Multi-Language Support: Matches your iPhone’s system language (60+ locales).
• Privacy First: No selling of personal information; proximity data is temporary and auto-deleted.
